At PDFPixel, we believe that your private files and documents should remain just that—private. Traditional file converters upload your documents to their servers, where the files are processed and then downloaded. This poses data leakage risks.

PDFPixel does not upload, copy, store, or view any of your files.

Every file operation (converting JPG to PDF, cropping images, compressing, extracting pages) is executed entirely on your own local device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) using standard JavaScript libraries in your browser. All of your personal documents stay on your machine.

2. What Data We Collect

Since all file rendering runs client-side on your processor, we do not receive or process your file content. We only collect minimal operational analytics data to monitor page health:

• Basic usage statistics (such as page views, interface interactions).
• Technical configuration data (browser type, screen resolution, operating system).
• IP address logs for security audit purposes and spam prevention.

3. Cookies and Local Storage

We may use cookies and browser local storage (LocalStorage / SessionStorage) to store user preferences (like recently loaded preferences, orientation choice, or dark mode settings). You can block cookies or clear local storage through your browser settings at any time.

Our tool includes optional connectors for convenience (Google Drive, Dropbox). When you import files through these options, they are fetched directly into your browser memory via official API calls. We do not store credentials or credentials metadata on our servers.
